Hi,
I have an Athlon T-Bird 1.2ghz and an Asus GeForce2Ti@235/400Mhz and 256mb ram
In 3dmark2001se@1024x768x32 with no AA, compressed textures, and 24bit Z-buffer I get about 4000 3dmarks :(
I think this is a very low score for my configuration.
any ideas why?
I am running with the asus 29.80 drivers

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS
How many do you think you should have?
I mean you have 1.2 Gig´s and a GeForce 2 ..... - I think 4000 are good for that!
Hi there:D
first, check out this sticky (http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83873) for the 3D setting you should set during benchmark.
then come to our 3Dmark team page (http://www.geocities.com/oc3dmark/) for benchmark comparison and advises.
and for your system, the score does seems a bit low for your G2 Ti...your 1.2 TB may be your bottleneck...
what FSB are you running at?
CPU OCed speed?
cooling?
one thing you can try is to use the eariler versions of Detonator, since the 29.80 you are using are tweaked for G4 to use...try 23.12.

....nice idea from Kato!
In the O/C 3dm Team there´s somebody with an Athlon XP 1800+ and a GeForce 2Ti - look at his scores here (http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=3690455)

I've got a 1.4ghz t-bird (well actually 2) and a radeon 8500 @ 250/280, and I can get a score of 7290. I think that's just the difference between the radeon and the geforce 2. I don't know if the 1.2 ghz may be holding you back, because wehn I overclocked to 1520, I only raised my score 300 points.

10x to all
I'm running my T-bird@1333mhz and fsb133mhz
the cooling is a real problem:) I have two VERY bad fans, and they hardly manage to keep the temperature at 60!!!
so I have to work on this;)
I'll try first to chanhge the drivers, and if this doesn't work - the gpu

since u have sch high temps i suggest u not overclock. or else u will get yr chip cooked someday. maybe cooking the chip is a good excuse to get a new one

That's my way of thinking as well, but I hope to get a whole new comp with the new cpu, and for this one a big tower+3fans will be fine:)
