Rigging a thermistor to a thermal header?

Is anyone familiar with wiring up a thermistor in their system and attaching it to a thermal header on their motherboard? Are there any special components required for doing this or is it as simple as extending the leads from the thermistor into the thermal header and the mobo calculates the resistance to determine the temp?

Yup its as simple as that, extend the leads and you're good to go.

One thing tho, you need a 10K Ohm thermistor.
