Funny...not really they are are truthful statements im sure.. my highest so far is 2525 Geforce 2 Pro 64mb DDR @stock speeds-gonna run it at 325/465, been runnning that fro bout a week and it should be burned in by now. Hope to break 4000. that seems kinds low dont it i mean 2525 ona card like that 290 drivers and win2k

6103 with GeForce 3 @ default and P3 1GHz @ 1125.

This was almost 800 points higher than when I stuck the GeForce in my new TBird 1.4 @ 1.533 on this EPoX 8K7A+.

Still rocks in games, though.

I hit between 6000~7225 depending on what tweaking and drivers I use for my card. But when the day is over, I stand at "7225" 3Dmarks.

Ok, you are very suspicious now. You sure seem to get great components ALL the time. First is the 1.4 gig running at 1.8+ on a MB that noone else has been able to get YET, then you have a 1.0 ayhjar or was it an axiar that gets up to 1.68 and more so far, now you get over everyone in 3DMark2K1. You seem to always one-up the best person so far. I don't think you are legit and it's a real downer to have someone one-up everything you say ALL the time. I can't get past 1.6gig, but that's ok. Many get higher then me but you seem the only one who can get past 1.8gigs. I get the best 3DMark2k1 score on this board and all of a sudden, outta the blue, you have 1500 points on me. I think you do that for the attention, and you need to stop. It's OK for someone to best you every once in a while. I am definutely not the only one who feels this way on this board. All that does is make people dislike you. Really, it's ok to loose every once in a while. I was enjoying the fact that I had the small edge over alot of folks in those scores but then you had to go and say you got a 12% increase in speed on me. Sorry, but I think you are a total fraud now. How about posting a comparison url like me and we'll see your MHZ, FSB, and your true scores. Maybe I may be convinced that you are not just being immature in your posts.

no there are ways to fool 3dm2001 into giving you a much better score than you realy should have. I dont need to edit anything.... it will even show up on the webpage if I could ever register

Do you mean pay for the pro version to register? You do not need to, all you do is click the online results button after you bench it, then you put in a password and a user name and you get a free acct manager. Then you can save all your scores, publish them, and get a link like me for others to compare to you. Simple as that. I don't have the pro version but I am thinking of getting it though. I would love to see my scores after the picture quality tests...

I've scored as high as 13,000 with mine.... with the CS speed cheat enabled. You can change your system clock speed, and with that gain higher Sandra scores, Geforce, etc. Actually, my highest score with below specs was 2400, and if I do 210/200 speeds on the card, I get 2650 or so. I had the highest scores of any similar setup :).

I have NO IDEA what I just did, but I did a fresh reboot of my system and I installed DX8.1 the other night. My card is at 235/540 now. I just scored a 6925 score. i have attached the following screenshot to back this up. As you can see, it's my desktop with the madonion.com site in the top right of the screen with my username in it to show this is mine. Like I said a second ago, I haven't got the slightest clue what I did and I JUST got this score. I think I'm about to poop myself. WOW!

Remember though, I am running a 150FSB right now. Also, did you do a FRESH reboot? I don't think I have ever tried a fresh reboot then benching. I did that and got that new score. I was hella surprised when I saw that too.

I'm gonna keep 8.1 anyway, just to see if other things might improve.

your only 300 points behind me, that wasnt so hard either now was it. Now if you hit the 1.8GHz mark, your 3dmarks would be well into the 7000s. My results very a few points but my highest is still 7225. Thats not the best for 1.84GHz Athlon.

I seen an CAD worker at this building I work at who has his PC equiped with a WildCat 2 GPU by 3Dlabs. He contructs the arches and angle beams for Sky scrapers and needs the best in PC technology. He has hit 12000 in 3Dmark2001. It completly chews the software around and spits it out. And he only has a 1GHz Athlon with 1GB DDR ram.

DX 8.1 didnt help me but then it didnt hurt either...

I made a revolutionary discovery last night as well. For some reason my processor 566@876 is unstable in D3D. It does great in everything else inlcuding runing f@h 24/7. But any way I was able to downclock my processor to 703 and oc my vid card to 160/345. So I broke 2000 with my geforce 1 256 ddr. Not to shabby

me either... I got like 3K on 3DMark2000. Guys, please, I need some serious help! What BIOS settings? Which 4in1 drivers? (I recall people saying the BUS Master drivers aren't good and to use Win2K drivers for that). What about AMD AGP miniport drivers? What about AMD driverpak 120??? Grrrr! I can't stand this...

yeh i get 2266 on my gf2mx on win2k. thats when its not oc. dont remeber what i got with it OCed

Yeh those used nitrogen coolers!! But atomicguy used air!! The dragonOrb yeh u heard right an ORB. lol it just aint possible to hit 1.8 with an orb and he always seem to get good parts.

Yeah, I always thought my marks were a little low to tell you the truth, and those 3d marks are at the default clock speed! I have to say it is due to endless hours of tweaking, building, destroying, recreating, machines. :) The system's that I run at home, I know very well, their limitations, known issues, erroneous bugs, etc. Via is the the saviour AND the bane of AMD's existence. :) Also, I recommend the 12.60 drivers for a GF2 on 2k. They give me a 5-10 frame improvement over alternative drivers in direct3d bench's. I am still tweaking away and have reached 5176-7 solid and repeatedly. It's not easy to tweak win2k for gaming...heh, but I just can't bring myself to run another line of 9x code in these boxes. :) BTW, I thought the gf3's were hitting in the 9-10k range?

Either you or your mate with the Wildcat is full of sh*t.
The Wildcat II is one hell of an OpenGL workstation graphics card however it was never designed for D3D games.
In 3Dmark it would not even get close to a Geforce3 let alone score 12000 (it would not even run the nature test for starters), you don't need to take my word on this Tomshardware tested one recently and made the comment that it basically sucked when it came to games (or words to that effect).
I'm with Tachoman, I think maybe your a bit of a story teller?
