I've been using clear vinyl tubing and it keeps collapsing. The pipes bend alot and I'm worried about water flow. In any case, I want to replace my tubing. I've done it before and used new vinyl but it does the same thing. What other alternatives are there? I don't remember what was wrong with braided vinyl i think it was too unflexible. I know silicon tubing is a good choice right? But where can I get it? Home Depot doesn't sell it and I don't want to order online from Dangerden. Any other alternatives?

I like in San Jose btw so if anyone know of any stores let me knwo.

Silicon tubing should be at most any hardware store.
Its stronger than most tubing. Not very bendy. It won't turn as much as other tubing, but it goes pretty far without kinking or anything.

Its not clear though, which I don't like. It also can allow water to evaporate out through pores in the silicone.

A better(and more expensive) choice is Tygon-R3603 ( think thats right).
It is clear, flexable, pretty anti-kinks, and rots of chemicals.

Can I get Tygon at a hardware store too? Oh and another thing, my system isn't a constant in terms of size. My waterblock is 3/8 OD while my pump is 1/2 OD. I've heard that with silicon tubing you can stretch it out so that the 3/8 OD will fit the 1/2 OD and it will allow you to have consistent tube size. Will Tygon do the same?

Thanks.
