I have 2 rigs, both Gateway POS's, details irrelevant except I killed hte mobo of one, freeing up its power supply, which is a 250 watter. The other is microATX, and was running on only a piddly 90 watts, and wasn't smooth at all, which I had attributed to low RAM and integrated video (no AGP :( ). Out of curiousity, I hooked up the 250 to it, and while not night and day, the difference is noticeable. Just another thing to think about :)
