Nope still only the 2200+ It probally will not be untill they release the 2300+ before we start to see some of the lower speed chips. AMD probally has a wharehouse full of the lower speed stuff, but do not want to flood the market yet.

AMD claims that they are making 100% t-bred now, when all the pallies at resellers are bought we'll see the low end t-breds

I think something like this would make the front page the moment it happens. I don't think it will be to long now. I can't see them making anything less than a 2000+ though. 2100+ t-bred will be next month I think.

I could have been 100% darn sure that they started at 2200, Why would they start the making of Slower processors? Hmm, dumb.
They converted all their manufacturing equipment to make t-bred cores rather than palomino. While the 2200 is the first release, there is still a demand for lower end chips. They'll fill that demand with t-bred cores rather than palomino ones, hence the t-breds down to I think 1800. The t-bred 1800 SHOULD be like the AGOIA 1600's we have now, going up hundreds of MHz relatively easily (a $75 2 GHz capable chip? Who knows). We'll have to wait and see of course, but you never know.

thanks for the info, was hoping for 2ghz on a sub 150$ chip but will have to wait :eh?:
according to what Ed said on the front page a while ago there are too many pallys around and some vendors are sending them back to AMD because no one is buying them. I bet there are lower speed Tbreds in the AMD warehouses but they wont start shipping them untill they can get rid of the pallys, once the low speed Tbreds are released no one will buy the pallys so they will want to try to clear out their stock b4 they release the Tbreds.
