Ok, I'm looking to build a new rig, and I keep going back and forth between an Intel 1.8A with stock cooler and an AMD Athlon XP with a Thermaltake Volcano 7. I would plan to overclock both, the p4 to about 1.8A and the Athlon as far as the FSB would give. Now, since I can't decide for myself, I'd like to hear what you think I should go with? I'm going to post this on the AMD CPU forum as well to get both sides of the pictures. Please help me decide.

also, i'll be running DDR333, and I do not want to unlock the athlon, just raise the fsb, and i'd only raise the FSB on the p4 to 133, giving about a 2.4ghz speed. I'm mainly interested in faster gaming. so which would be better?

Get the P4. Trust me, with how easy it is to OC it, you'll probably push it further than 2.4 GHz.
