I have an asus p4b533-V and p4 1.8A...I need cooling for the cpu and the northbridge...what do i need to get?
Does the volcano 7 plus HSF fits on the stock intel heat sink holder? or do I have to pry it off the motherboard and install a new one?
and what fan do I use on the northbridge? and where do I hook the power connector for this fan? the p4b533-v has only 3 pin connector for chasis and power...but nothing mentioned of the northbridge...
Thanks

if the north bridge came stock with no cooling fan, then it should be fine as they intended it to be run that way.
i would go for a AX-478, they are great heatsinks and sam
said the clips are very easy.
there is a review somewhere on the front page of overclockers,
looka round. it is also pretty cheap, you will need a 80mm fan.
get as much CFM as possible, but that means it's gonna be louder.
you can pick up both the fan and the heatsink here.

I'd stick with the heatsink that's on, unless you plan on high FSB OCing. In any case, you can plug the fan in at any mobo connector, it only matters for monitoring purposes (IE if you use the cpu plug for your northbridge, monitoring progs will read the northbridge fan's speed as CPU fan speed, not a big deal.)
