I currently have a geforce 256
Major bottle neck on my 1.333ghz system

I'm looking at upgrading it but i dont wanna break the bank too much, hence i cannot afford a GF3 yet. Does any1 have any suggestions on what i should do on this matter, whether to go mx200, 400 or gts or ultra or any other suggestions welcome.

I'm gunna put my budget, but i'm australian but i will convert it into USD

150.00 AUD = 77.79 USD
thats my budget roughly, i can get an mx for 105 which is 54.44 USD should i do that???

If you have GeForce256 DDR than upgrading to MX or MX-400 is pretty much pointless as the speed is almost the same. Have you looked at ATI RADEON 64 MB DDR? Its not that expensive, it has a great GPU and comes with Video IN/OUT.

can get a GF2 GTS 64mb for cheaper than a radeon, the sites i have looked at are like 550 AUD which is like way too much at the moment
