Now i need to find a cheap ass second hand PS2 if not a broken one and take the fan!

Buy a broken, non-working one off EBAY. Not sure if they have them, but they had Broken X-box's with all the parts there, for like 50 bux.

well why would you need a special fan for that thing? is there something special about the ps2 fans? wont a regular computer fan with a diff connector or something work??

haha. i have a gamecube, and i admit it would look freakin awesome if i could do that to mine too. but i love mine too much and i'm too much of a wuss to do that... maybe you could just send me yours. :D

Nope, but it's coming soon. Very soon. I've got an upcoming PC project in which I'll be using the same paint I need for the stripe. So I'll do both at once, and post one last pic of the GC in that thread, with the stripe.

you can get 5V fans from electronics suppliers like allelectronics.com (I know they have a 60mm 5vdc fan)
and then their is this (http://archives.e-insite.net/archives/ednmag/reg/1997/121897/26di_04.htm) option
RSelectronics.com has 80, 92, and 120mm 5v dc fans also for $16.00 (Mechatronics)
i would be willing to buy and ship one to you if you could send the money.
