How do you use Dial On Demand with ICS on Win98SE?? I have set it up and the clients work fine, as long as you dial up with the host. If the host isn't on-line, the clients won't make the host dial up.
Any idea??
Is it possible.
TIA

The host needs to be set too autodial in internet explorer, and normally that should be all that is needed to make it work.
Sorry for the vague answer but its been a while since i used ICS on dial up.

Hmm. Done that. Unlike Win2k there isn't an option for Dial On Demand on Win98SE. It seems to work fine as long as you have opened IE on the host so it auto dials up, or opened the connection in Dial Up Networking. Saw somewhere a registry change to make 98 do it, but can't find it now. :(

Have sorted out the dial on demand, now working a treat. Only 1 problem I am getting is that the clients are timeing out and displaying 'Page Cannot Be Displayed' before the host is managing to dial up. If you hit refresh on the clients browser it will then display the page as the host has had time to dial up. Is there any way of making the clients extend the time they wait before displaying 'This Page Cannot Be Displayed'?
TIA
