Does anyone in here know if the Maze 3 leaks. I read about it in a post here and just wanted to make sure it doesn't before I buy one.

There have been some reports of them leaking, yes. The tops on those are acrylic, not so good. You might want to consider getting it wth a copper top. If you want the clear top maybe you should consider a block from D-Tek. I have the new PolyTopped Spir@l and love it, the TC-4 rev2 is also very nice and they both perform very well.

What part is it leaking from. Is it from around the barbs or around the sides.

I believe around the barbs. I have only "heard" about some leaking, I have no first hand knowledge of it myself, just want to put that out there. Are you dead set on that block? Personally I don't know why so many people love that block:confused:

My maze 3 never leaked and cooled great, but I too went with a spir@l.

I too have the Maze 3 and no leaks. I think if I am not mistaken by my own judgement that the maze3 is a good low flowrate block. the reason I say this is that my setup is rather low flow. I have an Eheim1046 pump which is the lowest one they have and all 3/8 fittings and tubing and I am getting idle 35 /39 load on a normal day and around 39 idle 42 load on a crazy insane hot summer day. I am also using a BIX which apparently sucks so the block must be doing something right!
