SBlive5.1 MIDI playback help!!!

I only have one choice for my midi sound. I can't use the SBLIVe Synth for some reason. In XP, I had like 3 different choices for MIDI playback and now in 98 I only have one the Creative S/W synth and it sounds very crappy. Anyone know what the problem is?

turn youre sound acceleration down to basic if that fixes it then something is interfering with the card


Go to start then run typ dxdiag click on the sound tab and lower the accerleration to basic

That didn't help. I think it may have something to do with the drivers. They worked in XP, but now in 98, somethings wrong.

What drivers are you using? The stock drivers sould work fine, but if you use any hacked drivers off the web, it may not enable or install everything that sould normally be available for your card.

I am using the WDM drivers right off of the cd!
