I have a 1.7 ghz celeron overclocked to 2 ghz, a DFI NB-72 SC motherboard and 128 mb of ram, my OS is Win98 SE.
I have AC97 onboard audio on my motherboard and recently when i changed a setting in bios my sound stopped working.
I turned on the MIDI in my bios and when windoze loaded i had no sound, the volume control icon was gone and there was no trace of my sound card in the system propertys. I rebooted and turned the midi back off and loaded windows back up and my sound still wasnt working, i tried reinstalling my audio drivers but it made no difference.
I am completely stumped, any ideas?
