why couldnt you just go to Home Depot or Leows and just but a peice of lexxand and plexiglass thats the same size of you side panel?! granted you you would need a little modding to get a good nice snug fit but would be awsome, forget a window the entire side is clear! and it would be a LOT cheaper that! and its simple so theres almost no way to screw up, i've never tried it but i plan on it as soon as i get my rig(read sig), n e waz i was just wondering wat anyone else thinks abouts this if theres some thing that i forgot or if some ones already tried it, in any case im probly gunna do it myself, ill tell wat i did and ill ad a pic or two cant wait! :D

I had the same idea, but instead bought one for 38 shipped. Kinda expensive, but it is thicker and has beveled edjes for a pro look. Also came w/ 2 fan holes and a small hole for a switch to my cold cathode. It was worth it for me, I'm a little lazy. OH, btw i got it here (http://www.clear-viewtech.com/panels.html)

if you are looking for cheap CC's check out the cyber deals section, starfox put up a great deal and I ordered 2 complete setups for less than 27 bucks (gotta wire it yourself tho)
it came in 2 days and looks quality.

I did one too. Replaced the whole side panel with a piece of plexi (wish I used lexan) but it came out good. I put 4 small brackets and the bottom and drilled a couple hole for some screws, Came out nice except i had a flimsy corner (top right) so I stuck an inch of stickon magnet and it holds good. It's not the strongest but looks great. Just add some round cables and a cold light (svccompucycle has em for 15bucks) baddabing, all done...

YOU USED A WHAT? .... A MAGNET ON YOUR COMPUTER???!!!
Better hope that the window never lands inside the case and the magnet hits your hdd.

the entire pannel idea is nice i have an idea for a acrylic case but its gona be hella expensive and hard as im not using typical methods. i think that done properly the modded side pannel looks better than just an acrylic sheet though.
