View Full Version : Got a brass port hole lying around?

Want to get rid of it? I think this would be a most original and cool case mod, and if the comp gets hot, you can just open up the port hole, I think my uncle still has a ten inch P.H. with all the fittings, and I'm gonna try to talk him out of it.
I wonder why I didn't think of it b4.
Really, does this sound like a good idea? or just so much bildge water?

I think it's a great idea. I'm surprised no one thought of it before. It would be especially cool if you had a water cooled rig. Please post some pictures if you decide to do it. :)

Thanks for the reply there H.M., and I will defenately post pic's of the porthole if I can get one....the only thing is that if I get my uncles P.H. I will have to reinforce the side panel..I mean the thing weighs around 40+ lb's.

If you just want a round window I suggest picking up a cheap clock and taking off the molded plastic rim...

I can tell you where some are, and if you can get myseft my father and one of our freinds to that wreck, well will get you one, after we get our own, hehe, but anyway, i know of some wrecks that still have portholes....they are one of the best scuba salvage prizes, good luck at buying one.
