Finally got my water cooling system setup. After nearly a year of debating with myself wether i wanted to or not, i did it. Pump is a via aqua 1300, radiator is one that my dad had laying around, not the BEST around, but not bad, somewhere between the radiators you buy for water cooling and a heater core. Block is a gemini low-volume. All tubing is 3/8 ID.

The setup is not quite ideal, the pump is between the rad and the block for instance, but its keeping me 10c cooler than my Glaciator II did, and its QUIET, so im happy.

looks very very nice. Good job.

Very nice. :D FWIW, I prefer the pump between the block and the radiator.

Very nice indeed. The only suggestion I would make is to run the pump to the heatercore first then to the block. This way the heated water from the pump is cooled by the rad before being shot to the block. BTW the brass T-fitting and brass cap are a very nice touch. It looks alot better than the white nylon type.

I totally agree ;)

In any event you did a good job Wyrm

PS look where I put my pump (halfway down this thread) (http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=102159&highlight=pump)

I should note that with several different systems using inline pumps, I have always had better temps with pump/block/radiator. Gabe at Swiftech has made the same observation, hence the plumbing order with his kits and the Quiet Power.

Thanks guys. I need to put another fan on the radiator with a shroud, and get some water wetter, but other than that i think its pretty good.

We have almost the same components, but I wanted access to my PCI cards, so I built a trough to hold the res and pump, and I put the core out front with the fan and homejob shroud. Except for the odd appearance, it's very accomadating. In truth, I kind of dig the industrial look. (I took it apart to find a leak, but I think it may still be purging air, since I can't find a noticeable leak

looks similar to my setup, I built a wooden box that holds a plastic resavor and my pump. it sits under my computer similar yo yours.

i would love to have a watercooling setup like that, but i'm not even a n00b YET when it comes to watercooling, plus i'm afraid that my circuit boards aren't water resistance. LOL.

I think we need a thread dedicated to H2O setups.

*edit*

Can you put the pics in the new thread?
