very frustrating to scroll back up

When you post something, it brings you to the refreshed page with your post, ALL THE WAY AT THE BOTTOM. So if you wanna go back to the forum page of your choice, YOU GOTTA SCROLL ALL THE WAY BACK UP, and some people on here post a lot every day. Maybe having that thing, Overclockers Forums > Overclocking > Alternative modding , at the bottom also, so when we post something, it's right there to click. I think this would be so much easier then having to scroll all the way up every time i post something.

If you look at the bottom of each thread, you will find the forum jump selector. There is nothing stopping you jumping back to the main page of the topic you're in already........:)

we can use the jumper thing. you might as well scroll to the top of the page then scroll through that. i second the request made by royal

How about limiting the number of posts per page viewed, in your user options panel?

Then you wouldn't have so far to scroll.....

It would take 7 characters of code to get it to show up at the bottom as well as the top. I've never used vB 2.0.3, but the underlying template system is the same, and Skip would just have to add $navbar under <!-- first unread and next/prev --> in the showthread template.

Just trying to help out; someone requested this on AOA, too. :)

Or there is the "Home" key on the keyboard that jumps you straight to the top which is how I've been doing it. :) Especially since my scrolling wheel started fritzing out on me today. :(
The link on the bottom would be a nice feature though.

i just hit the middle mouse button and scroll to the top at lightning speeds. i've never used that forum jump. i would also like to see the breadcrumbs at the bottom as well as at the top. this is how i nav the forums.

ya theres plenty of work arounds but royal and i both know that if they were there you would use them:) lots of forum have them at the top and bottom. i hope this is being at least glanced at by skip

Get Opera, right click, hold down, and drag left for back, or right for foward, and down to open a new window. :D
