Can't update Radeon driver in Xp

I am trying to upgrade from the 6071's to 6094's and have tried uninstalling from within the device manager,when it says to reboot to finish I reboot and upon booting into Xp it finds the version I just removed and will not let me upgrade. Until now I have never removed previos version to install new ones and it's always worked before, so what gives? Anyone got any Ideas or methods to completly get rid of previos version within Xp?
