what would be the better choice

im building a new computer right now and am thinking about going for 1024Mb of RAM. will there be a difference (performance wise) between getting one stick of 1024mb RAM and two sticks of 512 RAM? Also what would you suggest getting?

1 stick is always better if u can afford it. btw why do u need so much ram? 512MB is really all the is required. but then again, i dont know what type of applications u run and how many at the same time. Most these users here only need 512MB.
for performance, i think u will see no difference between 1 or 2 sticks. If u are asking on what type of ram is best that u can get. I believe that would be the 1066bus RDRAM. GL with ur new system.
