I have a ThermalRight AX7 heatsink. I want to know whether I should place my fan to blow air to the heatsink or out of the heatsink. Which way perform better?
I've played with the fan direction on several systems. Blowing generally gives 1-2c lower cpu temp. Sucking generally gives 1-2c lower mobo temp. If you care more about cpu temp, make it blow.

Most heatsinks are designed to have the air blowing into the cpu. There are a few exceptions, but this is the general rule.
Alphas suck and ThermalRight's blow :)
i dont remember where i heard this before...but its funny
