I have a problem and need a quick answer.

I am building a rig with the mobo in the subject and when I am putting the heat sink on one side of it is hitting the cooler on the northbridge. Can slide it over and clip it onto one of the outside prongs on the socket or is this a no no?

I had this problem with that board too, with an MCX462, it got hung up on the top NB fan mount. My soulution: Take the mount out, worked fine. Just make sure the HSF is sitting flush or you will fry your CPU.

How did you reclip your northbridge after you took the mount out?
