Anybody experienced this:

Writing a long post, hit the "post" button and get the message "please log in..." and after that "invalid thread...." and everything is lost.

Now this sux I hate it. Can you fix this or what?

I do not have this problem at all! Do you have option "accept all cookies" in the internet options on? I have - and I´m never asked for a new "log in" !

Every now and then that happens. Usually it means you recieved a bad cookie. You should toss your cookies (clear your cache)

Your post could be in your cache still if you go back...I've had mixed resuslts with that. Sometimes it's still there, sometimes it isn't.

If it is, great! All you have to do is open a new instance of the browser (say...right click on the link up top and go to open in new browser) and then log in from there..you should be set.

Another option would be to save all your posts after writing them (ctrl+a then ctrl+c would do that in two shakes of a cat's tail).

The actual reason behind why that happens is cookies, for sure, though.

yeah i get it every now and then. i just "toss my cookies" and re login and all is well :)

That has happened to me only one time, and clearing the cookies fixed it right up. I get a lot more “Page cannot be displayed” errors, however I think that is because of my terrible Bellsouth 56k connection.:(

i learned a way to fix that so i.e will remember what you had in forms from a different page. I learend it from ebay. Make your internet explorer only search for updates when you open i.e. I forgot how to do this though.
