My observations:
The intro is just silly, with the thunderbolts and everything. The first two games don't look impressive at all, in fact AC2 looks suspiciously similar to Morrowind on a GF3. Dungeon seige graphics are rather poor and not worth mentioning. The only interesting part is the paraise from Karmack (who for some reason look sreally strange), but it's pretty much the same thing that we heard before. I am not impressed.

EDIT: excuse the typos.

trust me don't buy right away! you'll just be throwing money away! doom3 won't be out untill 1st or 2and quarter of next year and by then the radeon9700 will have significantly dropped in price. Just my 2 cents in trying to save you some financial strees :D

I thought it was OK. Not too great. When the NV30 comes out, and the R9700 gets around $150 then I will buy it.

downloading... :)

eh? looks good, but i need a better view of the game playing than that.

the quality looks very nice though :)

Personally, I'll be getting a 9700 to go with my purchase of AC2. Thats the next game I can see that I'll really need/want that kind of power, plus the price will be down a bit by then.

All 3 games look great to me, even in 640x480 mpeg...

it looks good but i think ill stick with nvidia cause that seems a little on the expensive side and when this comes out maybe it will puch the geforce 4 ti prices down so i can afford a ti4600

I was sooo hoping for it to be in game engine ;(

Oh well, I guess we wait a few more years ;)

Umm...ok... Wonder if you'd sing the same song if it were an Nvidia card...

The intro was pretty cool. Yeah, it shows the card...not sure what you were expecting... It is a video about a graphics card after all.

Even if it's a cutscene, it is rendered in real time on the card, not a prerendered movie file.

My motherboard has an agp4x not 8x... the 9700 is backwards compatable but will the performance still be higher then ti4600? if its not might as well just get a 4600... would there be anyway to upgrade your agp to a 8x?

Did you people all REALLY download 77Mb just to see some movie???
Aren't there any signifficent things you can download. I don't believe I will ever have the time (about 6 hours with my connections:D) to do this.

Took me 1 minute to download.I love cable. Otherwise I would never bother downloading it.

I'm 1.6 gigs over my bandwidth limit this month. Forgot I was streaming audio, and went away for the weekend...
I'll have to wait till I start getting charged for next month. But, judging from everyones reactions, some of you are really buying into this PR thing.

Yeah, Broadband allows for so much. I take 2 minutes to download the file, then after watching it I delete it as if its nothing at all. :)

yeah when I first went from 56.6 to broadband it was amazing, now broadband is regular for me, if i see dialup @ a friends house, i dont even bother going online ;) Just waste of time :p

Noticed you were in Toronto, and I'm guessing your using DSL since Rogers (Ontario cable company broken off of the @home branch) doesn't have a monthly limit according to DSLReports.com

The movie was ok. I think they should've added some more longer lenght movies :D

Lately i have been trying to read about doom3 as much as possiable and it says everything is done throgh the game engine but i seriously dont think that was rendered with the r9700. This came from the doom3 movie at E3 but oohwell it still could have been

Zuck Gou :)

Yes that was real Doom3 footage, in-game.

At E3 they had computers with radeon 9700s playing doom3 demos.

Yeah you never heard about that? at first ATi didnt want anyone to know and later they admitted it and thats when john carmack was saying that the radeon 9700 was the only card that could have properly dislpayed the game with all of the details and stuff. what did u think they had it running on a GF2? (J/k)

Just remembered, what was that about using tomorrow's features, specifically DX9, today? To the best of my knowledge we won't be using that for quite a while. Overall, it makes the video even less impressive.
