I just happens to have a 58W peltier (from an old project) that i am not using at the moment. Do anyone have a nice idé what i can use it for? I guess 58W isnt enough to cool the GPU (GF4), or is it?

Please help me, what should i do with it? Any great/fun idés out there?

You might be able to cool your northbridge with it.

I would try it on the GF4 just make sure you underclock it before you start and then after the peltier is on it nudge it up a little bit at a time. I could find how many watts it puts out, but I don't think it is a huge number. The reason for this, it that a week ago my fan failed on my 4200 running at a core of 300. I thought it was the summer heat so I backed it down to 290. It was stable indefinatibly. I was just doing a weekly inspection for water leaks, and then I noticed the fan wasn't running. So I think there is a chance that 58W could cool it, but I don't think it would get the core below ambient.

****Just so you know I'm just giving my observations, I would really really recomend finding out how many watts the GF4 puts out before you slap that peltier on it****

Also Klownin is right about the northbridge it would be more than enough.

I just read an article where a guy used a 30 watt peltier to cool a geforce 256. So this may help shed light on the output of the GF4.

I think ill try using it on the graphics card to see if its of anyuse. Right now i am already watercooling the graphics card so insulating a little and putting the peltier in place isnt that big problem!
