Any fello quake3 overclocking fanatics like me?

I don't know if you could call me a fanatic, but I like to play. However, I seem to have plateaued in the middle of the pack. I rarely win, but never lose.

I see some of the most unbelieveable maneauvers being done by the people who win. It makes me wonder if they have some sort hardware tricks that they use.

I use a keyoard and optical mouse for control. Is there a better way?

I also see them making amazing shots with rail guns that almost makes me think they are cheating somehow. What do you think?

don't think they're cheating. There are some players who have played since quake1.

I been playing for 2 years, and i pull off some amazing shots. I can't even imagine how good people are that have been playing since the beginning.

i use a dual optical logitech mouseman, and a fun surface 1030 mousepad. www.func.net

i finally met someone with an aimbot today and he was playing with it. My god, i didn't know an aimbot could be that good. His machine gun would kill a guy almost instantly cause it was on him no matter what direction. He would fly all the way across the screen and somones using a high jump pad and he has to turn 90 degrees and go all the way down and back up, and his crosshair was on him the whole time. He admitted he had an aimbot too and just wanted to test it.

I play Quake 3 demo a lot single player only though. Multiplayer is almost unplayable at a 300 ping, which is my normal everyday ping. I have seen my ping go as low as 130 on Descent 3 servers, and as low as 119 in AA:O. I guess quake 3 just doesn't like me, I own single player though.

I'm pretty good. Depending on who I'm playing, I'll usually place in the top 5 or so.

I've been playing Quake since Quake 1 was first released. A buddy of mine learned how to hack the full version out of the demo CD, that's where I first got it (I later purchased it). I was all about the Co-op MP mode, till one day he tricked me into Deathmatch. I've been hooked ever since.

I used to play Q1 RA and TF, but I've since stopped. I mostly play Q3 online, and it's still a HUGE favourite at LAN parties. W/ Quake 3 TA, a buddy of mine and I are already planning some 1 flag CTF matches, which will be too dope for words!

I usually always do this, but just decided to play quake, and take a screeny. My team sucked ass and yet look at my score. heh. I feel so proud of that.

The only quake3 i play is Rocket arena 3. Some dont cheat but some do. When you have a 60% rail its kind of suspicious if you ask me. I usually have around 25-30%.

The funny thing in any FPS games is those Unnamedplayers, lol. They are always really good :D

I love Q3, but latly been playing Q2 instagib, I get 17 ping on rya server :D god bless the man who created adsl
