I'm pretty sure from what I've read that it is better [alpha] but how much?
Will I possibly get my 700 to 1ghz instead of 933?

I think it's a temp thing since my setup is solid otherwise!

Currently my cpu idles at 30c and under load hits 40c give or take a degree or two of course!

The Alpha 6035, whether old or new is better than a GORB. It's actually a bit insulting to mention them in the same sentence. IMNSHO.

I am willing to up the votage indeed and have to 1.95 with no luck!
Turns out my mobo posts with the default core voltage and afterward sets the core voltage to what I specify in the bios crappy eh?

Is their anyway to fix this cold boot voltage problem I have?

The only way I've seen to fix the cold boot problem is to wire two of the pins together with thin copper wire and bend another pin over so it doesn't go into the socket. You can read about how to do it at http://metamajik.com/pk/overclock.html

you can wire different ones and get 2.0= VOLTS without bending the pin over :)

Can you just snip that pin off instead of bending it?
