Hi guys,

I want to do the 1.7v Mod on my TH7-II since the initial voltage is 1.39v and my 1.8 would not post @ 2.4.

My question is, which kind of copper wire should I use?? 0.1, 0.2 or 0.3mm??

Thank you in advance!

I just used one single copper strand taken from automotive speaker wire. You can also strip out one strand from a harddrive or fan power wire. I've heard paeople using a strand from CAT5 wire too. Not sure what size those are though.

Oh, it's just the thing I wanted to order some copper cable and need to know the size of it. :(
I can order 0.1 up to 1.2mm copper cable...

Do you think the 1.7v mod is ok? It will give me 1.6v actual voltage. My 1.8a does not post @ 2.4 with 1.39v actual only. 1.6v should be fine, shouldn't it?

Yes, 1.7v should work ok (which should give you 1.6v real voltage). I would go with a thin wire, however 0.1mm sounds tiny. Maybe 0.2mm, I don't know. Does anyone else know your wire sizes???
