Ever wonder about a ceramic heatsink?

suposedly it's one of the best conductors of heat (hell they use it on the space shuttle to sheild heat), if one were to fashon one, do you think it would prove to be worthwhile?
It would be cool if it worked!

Actually its good at absorbing and holding large amounts of heat, but its not all that good at giving it up, they use mostly carbon blocks on the bottom of the shuttle because you can heat one side to 1000s of degrees and the other hardly gets warm, heatsinks must both be able to absorb alot of heat and radiate it, ceramic/carbon/etc are very poor at radiating the heat away.

The only form of carbon that is decent at conducting heat is diamond. All other forms of carbon suck at conducting heat.
