I just got home from being out of town for a couple of weeks and noticed that one of my folding rigs has 8 WU's that it cannot turn in.

Server 117 - 1
Server 112 - 6
Server 110 - 1

Any suggestions on what I should do to help get these turned in? I already checked to make sure that the computer could access the internet. No problems at all.

Thanks,

Last weekend, Stanford had some coding and server issues. I am not sure if this is part of it. NAS has the info to help you.

If you are using the text only command line client there are different command flags that you can use to trigger certain actions. One of those actions is the -send all flag

This can be accomplished by creating a shortcut to the client. Then right click on the shortcut and in the target area you can put " -send all" (without quotes and with a space before the - ) and then run the client from the shortcut. The client will then try to send the old wu's. Sometimes they send and sometimes they don't. Hope that helps.

Thanks,

all you can really do is keep trying to send the units. sometimes you can restart clients and they will pick up a different server but most of the time it doesn't work. i know 112 has really been overloaded as of late and also Vijay said that the PSC data backups have really been bearing on ths servers and clogging them up. haven't heard too much about 117 lately and 110 seems to be working fine for me.

sooner or later they will get through, the other day i had 7 WU's trying to get back to 112 and it took 23 connects to get there:( but they did get there;)

I figured out what the problem is, however, I do not know if it can be fixed or not. For some reason, FAH3 is trying to send the results via Port 0. I now have 9 completed WU's which are probably going to be lost, especially since the oldest is about 1 week old.

If anyone happens to know how to fix this, please let me know. At least one of the WU's is a 6-pointer.

Hopefully I have the problem fixed with regards to new WU's, but we will see in a couple of hours when the next WU is completed.

I believe the port used most by FAH is 8080. Try using it and see what you get. :burn:
