Hello, i have a MSI 6199 and wanted to get a Tualeron 1000/1100
and hoping this will work, the mother is slot 1 but i have a fc-pga adapter that is very good and let me change voltages from 1.55 to 2.60 so i think voltage will not be a problem (written in the pcb of my mobo says that it support 1.3 volts for future processors and i think this is what a future precessor looks like right?)
so... i write to MSI and thy tell me that it wont work. but i know that there are moddings for this kind of things, any one can help me or i will have to buy a new mobo too? if that`s the case wich one is recomended that is no too expensive? i really hope this work in my mobo

Thanxs!!

MSI 6199 is with via chipset

http://www17.tomshardware.com/mainboard/00q2/000410/via_ap133a-17.html

The modifications for tualatin celerons on slot1 motherboards are valid only for BX chipset motherboards.

So, no way !

best regards
