Hi all,
I am new here on the forums, but I am eager to learn and become part of the community here. Being a novice overclocker, I figured I'd overclock my old school GeForce 2 MX200 with 32 mb of memory. I downloaded PowerStrip and it seems to do a good job, I even registered it so that darn little tip window wouldn't open up. Anyway, I overclocked the engine from 175mhz to 200mhz and the memory from 167mhz to 177mhz. I was wondering if this isn't much of an overclock or is it a big overclock. I don't have any cooling on my card, so what do you guys think I could get it up to without burning it up? Also, is PStrip very good at all?

Thanks,
Xtasy

as long as PS lets you do what you want then it's good.
about your overclock, it's pretty good without extra cooling. i have a MX400 that i overclocked, 200core@230, 166ram@185.
just keep an eye on errors and don't try to overclock it too much (ie. 400Mhz core 300Mhz ram or something like that) each card overclocks differently, some are way better then others. you have a pretty decent overclock right now, i would try to get the ram a little higher but make sure your not pushing it too hard.

to test my card i run 3DMark2001se for 3 hours. if it runs without a problem then i know it's ok.

i had mx400 at 200/220 with no cooling, added ramsinks and got 240 ram trouble is these cards dont do much with higher frequencies, it only gave me 3fps more in quake 3 arena, but you will soon learn enough of oc'in to see things urself, i used power strip but now i use geforce tweak utility
