Hello "Friends" I have been reading alot of posts and finally could afford to replace my p-233mmx so I went with a p4-1.8a retail form newegg random luck got me a 3217a710 pack 06/14/02 from costa rica. I put it into a new Abit th7II raid {abits latest bios flash} 2-256 origional samsung chips pc-800 and 2 WD60 7200spins in raid mode....... I still need work in the viedo card area but ran out of money :p I am using a stock fan and heatsink "came with retail cpu" my highest fsb so far 159.46 for a speed of 2870.35 per wcpuid in windows 2000. was too hot and not enough volts to be stable " no pin wrapping or defogger yet" so I tweeked it back to 151fsb and am running rock solid at 48c full load :D WOOT now i need to get my ax487 sink and defogg the pins and see if this baby will fly:burn:

I am allways open to good advice:cool: Thanks for the posts!!!:beer: cheers

looks like you are doing quite well so far.

after reading what you bought...and what you are going to get...
I think that you don't need much of any advice.

I think you have one killer set up there, and with the new HSF you are getting...you will be just fine.

as for posting a pic...it has to be a jpg .

then just attach at the bottom of your reply.

your memory score seems a little low....restart comp and run the test again please.

anyway,my memory scores are higher then this at this speed...yet I know that sandra needs a patch,and this could be one of the reasons.

looking better....

btw, what I ment was that sandra NEEDS a patch to fix there tests. no there are no patchs for it yet.

I know for a fact that the memory test is messed up....it is too unrelyable and flat out wrong at times.
it makes you wonder about the other tests...:eek:

I'm not saying that your score is not...but I have showed before how messed up sandra reads memory scores at diffrent FSB.

remember my 160fsb score compared to my 133fsb score?

they were almost the same.

now how can I get about the same memory score at

133x4x2=1064 sandra 3299/3297
160x3x2=960 sandra 3292/3292

this must be looked at as flat out wrong scores.:eek:

I have reinstalled windows....and still get the same results.

What voltage are u running at 2.72Ghz? Did u run the Prime95 for days or run any games like Jedi Knight II Outcast games for hours and not even hang up? Mine Cpu is doing the same as yours however with a newer batch SL68Q after July 02 which supposed to be the pre-shrunk ones.
