hi folks...
i'm new here and starting with a weird question ;-)
i got 2 rimm 4200 256mb some days ago..
samsung
the part number ends with -cn9DF...
i know what cn9 stands for (32ns) but what does DF mean....??
do i have some kind of sample or so....
good or bad?
i'm glad about all infos about it....

why did you buy 2??? you only need one and you are forced to use asus P4TE533 since is the only one with rimm 4200 in the market...

i know i only have to use 1
fact is:
i ordered 2x 256mb 1066 rdram from kingston...
i got to the shop, and the guy gave them to me....
i looked at them and they had marks of usage, so i said i want others...
he said he has samsung chips and will give them to me for the same price...
i said ok...
and they were 32 bit....
so this is why i have two....
and 2x256 is cheaper than 1x512....
so what does df mean?

this DF could be a customer (Special Handling) code, but what does that actually mean?

somebody surely has infos bout it....
i dunno man, but as fas as i know samsung is way better than kingston to overclock, so it seems in the end you are a lucky bastid :D. Try them aand try to prove me wrong...

i'll get my mobo on wednesday....
will o/c as soon as possible and tell you about the samsungs o/Cability....
hope to get it above 1200 ;-)
