After a month of working on this on and off, its finally 90% done.
I also did up a "how to" if anyone is interested. I tried to keep the same theme as my case (see below). If I manage to plug this back in I'll get a screenshot of it actually working, in case someone has the heebeegibies about trying it. Only thing I have to say about trying this is be safe. The inner edge of the metal shell is razer sharp. Im not talking about the part you cut with the dremel either. I have 4 fingers that can attest to that.
The 2 black wires you see will be connected to a switch to control the UV LED. <--- which provide somewhat near UV light. If you want UV reactive paint to glow bright, I suggest purchasing a small UV cathode, and layering the paint. Meaning applying several coats one after another giving plently of time for each coat to dry.
