OCing an XP1700+

I got a personal offer for an XP1700+ .. $62 including shipping! Should I run with it or am I getting scammed by this guy? (Purchase location will remain unnamed.) Not sure if it's the new-newer smaller-micron XP1700+ or the original. I would assume it's the original version.

In either case, I hear that the XP1600 can oc in the XP1800-2000 performance level. What can I generally expect out of this XP1700... XP1900-2100 performance?? Or is the XP1600 one of those special cases that has a gift for overclocking (i.e. Celeron-300A)?

They're all about the same really, the higher models tend to go a little higher. If you want us to guess at its potential, ask the guy to tell you the code that's printed on the core.
