help on compaq net cards

what is the difference in this two cards both where in compaq 266 machines one reads

compaq
10/100 TX PCI Intel
WOL UTP Controller

(this one is about 1/2 inch wider then the other)
replacement part is 323553-001 @compaq.com (support)

the other is

compaq NC3121

replacement part is 323556-001

so what is the difference?

Just a guess, the utp controller might only be 10mb. Have you tried a search on their site, try the replacement part numbers.

ive done that but no info on card

I would go with the known Intel card because,

1> you know what it is
2> drivers readily available

the other card,,,,who knows, don't waste your time, IMO.
