OK, here is how it goes:
Ran Sandra and everthing went fine, got some decent scores. Rebooted ran 3Dmark, would not run, all I would get is flashing. Tried running Sandra Mulitmedia again and got some terrible scores, dropped from 10730/13452 to 1400/400.
Thought that the Graphics card was bad, so I bought a Geforce 2 for a temporary card while I RMA'd my Geforce 4. Got it in today, installed it tried to run 3Dmark, same thing, flashing yellow and orange screens. Tried running Sandra multimedia again. same low scored, but just a tad bit higher but not much.
Could I have a bad AGP slot? Could my processor be messed up?
Everything else works. Surfing, business apps, playing DVD's, just cant benchmark or play games. Dont know what is going on.
Please help.

Just taking a shot in the dark here, did you try re-installing 3Dmark and running it while not overclocked?

I have done that, no go

I rebooted, because well I dont remember. I think it was to put back on my door and plug up my window fan. I ranthe Multi, Arith, and memory Sandra Benchmarks before I rebooted.

Ok, got 3dmark to run, only let it go through the low detail car chase, but its not a very good run. It was all grainy, with trinagles all over the screen. Sandra is still doing the same thing, when it puts up its little picture, its just a screen full of pixels and I am getting a score of 2700/800
if you are running Windows XP I would suggest doing a repair to make sure your system files and drivers aren't an issue here, other than that I'm stumped...:eh?:

Is there a way to do a repair other than booting from the CD with XP? I know in 2000 you could do it from windows.
if you have the installation files on your hdd (or the CD in the drive), you can do this:
Start WindowsXP
Go to the location of your source files
Run WINNT32 /unattend

This is a shot in the dark but do you have an agp voltage modifier in your system bios? My MSI board does. You could have accidentally set it too low.

I thought multimedia was ram/proc?
Check your ram..see if one suddenly died.

I do not think so, if I do where exactly would I find it? But I am almost possitive I do not.

If one died wouldnt I notice it everywhere? All of the other sandra benchmarks, including memory run just how they are supposed to.

I thought it was 1 stick getting flakey..since RDR systems need to be installed in pairs. But if your ram scores are fine..
Are you running in ACPI mode? I don't think IRQ's should be a problem..
Remove drivers and reinstall?

If ACPI is off...move your PCI cards around. Could be conflicting with eachother.
Was going to say your DX is messed up..but reinstall and it's still like that.
Are you doing all this overclocked or stock?
What voltage did you have your proc all this time?
I would think it was mobo related, then...sorry man :(

Its all stock, I have put in a RMA request already for the mobo. I will be off air for at least a week or so till my laptop comes back from the shop:( Oh well thats life.
