No sound.....

Ok, I just finished defragging my system and no I don't have any sound :( I checked to make sure all the wires are plugged in correctly and made sure volume is up, mute is off, and I tried different speakers but I still dont get any sound. Any help would be appreciated...Heres my specs:

Athlon 1600xp non oc w/AX7 and AS3

I would try to uninstall the drivers, and if that doesn't work make sure your soundcard is configured right, by which I mean that if you right click the little speaker in the systray, click audio properties, and make sure your preferred device is the sb live card. Hope that helps.
