I was at the nearest electronics store and I saw this fan specifically designed to fit right over the hdd. I was thinking, when I go to watercooling, I wouldn't want the loud 80mm I have blowing on the hdd. I think this fan was 18 cfm and it didn't give any dba or anything. I don't know, maybe it would be a bad idea.
What do you think?

just get a quieter 80mm fan, or do the 7-volt mod to the one you got, that should keep the noise down.

Yeah, okay. I saw this other fan, where it kinda is horizontal in the case, not vertical. It fits right into the case like one of the PCI cards' output area. That looked pretty neat. But, I'm not going to go crazy with the fans. :D

yeah i bought one of those PCI exhaust fans and it was awesome and fun and stuff :)
THen one day a terrible noise was coming from inside the computer. THis was about 8 months later. THe noise was the PCI exhaust fan. I took it out and it had broken.
It was only 6 dollars though.....:eh?:
