I found a site that shows a simple mod that is supposed to improve the orb's efficiency by 20%. The only problem is that the site is in German...

I modified my Gorb by removing the OEM fan from within it. And replaced it with a 60mm box fan. It made a difference of about 6 or 7 degrees F`. I also lapped it which dropped the temps another 2 or 3 degrees F`. However, as far as I'm concerned I think the real trick might be to add a copper shim between it and the cpu. Here in San Diego my cpu temp is jumping around from 87F to 95F w/ ambient air @80F`. I've already seen my cpu temp hit 105 maybe 15 minutes ago. And I have lots of case cooling. I'm starting to like Jeffs idea of "Just say no to forced air cooling"
