I've been inspired and spent half the night playing with the main rig now its running at 2x 1.75ghz@1.75v with two AGOIA Y 0213 1600+'s I'll have to bring down temps if I want to overclock more...
I had ran 2 instances of prime95 (affinity 0 and 1) to get these cpu's up to 100% load and let me tell you if you thought one prime95 client heated up a system try two.
Though some would appriciate a little benchy or two...
These are great looking Bech'es! Now I want a dual system even more :D I'm saving up for at dual Duron system, I will also use the K7D motherboard. I wonder how a pair of Durons would do against your XP's?
You can get two XP-1600's for ~$125, the durons would run you like $80, right? Spend the extra $50! I got my XP-1600 to nearly 1.9GHz (I don't know if having a dual makes this harder to do), imagine a duallie of that!

I know, but then I'll have to close the L5 bridges, and I don't like the idea of closing 10 bridges or mayby even 20 if I'm gonna unlock the myltiplier. I have heard that it'sonly one of the L5's that needs to be closed to run them in SMP, is that true?
Yes only I bridge for enabling SMP but only a dozen if you want to unlock the multi/SMP on both cpu's.
That's great! I might go for the XP's then. How high FSB can the K7D reach?

150 with the current bios so unlock UNLOCK UNLOCK

I know I feal guilty already I'm pressuring others into duallly bliss but I couldnt bare it anymore everyone around here that sees this benchy just shruggs and says , OK is that good?!?

Well the problem is that I'm not very good a unlocking the XP's. I was only lucky to get my XP1700 unlocked, and the thought of unlocking two more CPU's scare's the sh*t out of me :(
Its not that hard you should try you may be suprised

jbslow, do you know where i can find the red pcb one? i've only been able to find the green.
and another thing, i still am having trouble deciding between the gigabyte board and the k7d master....x_X
could you pm me or aim me and help me decide? i'm looking for more information on the msi board before i'll be swayed much from the gigabyte board. thanks ahead of time man. ^_^ if you do it of course ^_^
and yes for non smp junkies or those who want duallies (and follow the info on it) this is VERY good.
long live duallies and their cousins the single cpu. what i really want to see is a quad sledge board *drools insanely* that would be sweet. ^_^
