What kinda numbers do the 8mb cache drives get compared to a regular 7200rpm HD, i wanna get 2 of these puppies and push raid 0 on em
suggestions?

They do really well, maybe a touch better than the ATA133 Maxtors with an ATA133 controller but not by much and to me, not worth the extra $$$ for the SE drives.

My thoughts exactly, escpecially if have to run a PCI RAID card, since most of those come with 2, 4, or 8MB cache themselves.

Well, there is no reason not to get SE drives right now as Newegg is selling the 800jb for about $10 more than the Maxtor liquid bearing drives...
Oh wait, I forgot, WDs can't handle high FSBs
