Welcome to the forums!!!

Do NOT get a P4 Celeron. These chips are BAD. Just so you know Tualatin Celerons are based on the excellent Tualatin P3 core and are great machines whereas the P4 Celeron is based on the crippled P4 "Willy" core. Moreover to add insult to injury the P4 only has 128K of L2 cache. Just to make it clear for a third time, P4 Celerons not only perform very badly but they dont OC well (if not at all).

These would be much better options to build your new comp:
P4 1.8A with Abit BD7-II (a bit pricey compared to what you originally intended but MUCH MUCH better)
Celeron 1.1A with Abit ST6 (cheaper than what you originally intended and MUCH better)

it's not a celeron A. :D

i agree with Tamasha_Strife. avoid getting the willamette celeron.
it is just an even more crippled version of an already crippled cpu.

the only advantage it holds over a tualatin celeron is it uses a socket 478 mobo and ddr. giving a slightly better upgrade path.
but i don't think even that is reason enough to buy one.

i would either stick with a tualatin celeron or go the whole way and get a northwood P4.
