I've seen people do some really excentric designs, like biohazards and just their own windows. Do you just stick a whole piece of acrylic behind the design, or do you try to work it into the place where you cut or what? If you stick it behind, does it look very good, since it's not even with the case? One other thing, I forget where I saw it but I saw someone use something that looked like a small metal cone to secure their case... What are those? LOL sorry I'm just a little confused right now... I'm tired of the boring square mod and bought a Dremel yesterday :)

I just finished up a window mod. It was a boring rectuanglar disign but this will work on others as well.
What I did was cut the acrylic about an inch larger that the opening keeping the same shape.
I sanded the backside of the door and rounded the edges so the window will sit flat. I took some time doing this.
I used double sided tape. to adhear the window. I forget the name it came on a role like regular scotch tape. VERY sticky!! and fairly thin. I lined the window with 2 strips of the tape and stuck the window on.. It looks very clean. the window looks like it was glued to the metal, dust cant even get in.
Basicly just as stated above.
I like to use a silicon adhesive to attach the plexi. The double sided tape works just as well and actually isnt as messy :)
