Hello I Just purchased a AXP 2200+ and installed First boot up 78C in die. (Hmm Very hot Shutdown is set at 80.) Ok I say to my self stupid water block is not on right. (Koolance PC2 601 with PC - 200 silver - waterblock) Reseat the water block, reapply AS2 and reboot at 57 better but still high. Grr Getting Angry Check my AS2 on the waterblock side to see if it was making good contact with the Block seems to be ok.

Jumping ahead now I have an AXP Tbred running at 1.8ghz @ 1.47v.

At 1.6v It does not seem to change in temp much. (1-2c) I think that the Pads on the Cpu are preventing the waterblock's ratchet Screw from putting the correct amount of pressure on the core. I have Chipped a core before with a TT Thermo-Engine witch did not make contact with the pads. Needless to say I am a little appehensive about doing it to my AXP 2200+. Unfortunatly I really see no alternative.

Does any one have any suggestions.

Please Help.

I have heard that AS2 needs to settle a bit. Then the temps should go down some.

what are your ambient temps? I know that the koolance system as a whole isnt the best thing since sliced bread and doesnt necessarily perform too much below 50c unless you have really cold ambient temps....

Water Temp Is 27c and Ambient is 25c.

My AXP 1600 @ 1.7 1.8v was at 45c die (32c socket) 52c die (34c socket) full load.

Edit: The T-Bred runs at 57 die (35 Socket) Gonna try AS3 when i get it in :)
