Artic Silver 3 question

I will be applying some AS3 to my HS and CPU. It says in the instructions that it takes 72 hours to set, cure or whatever. Should I wait that 72 hours before useing the computer or will it be ok to use once i get all on there and attach the HSF.

Use it right away: it will take a few days to achieve optimal temps though.
You may see 3 to 5c of drop in your temps after the AS# settles in: heat and the pressure from the HSF help the process.

I think if its spread thin enough, it takes maybe 24 hours....in my experience.....you want it paper thin....

I read articles of this stuff disapating on the chip and burning the chip out....
if its safe I'm gonna have to make another purchace:)

Right now I'm using AS 2
