I have 2 computers hooked up together through a router. Since Sympatico is implementing caps, im going back on dial up until i can find another isp. The problem is i only have one modem and its on my main computer. Is there a way for the other computer to access the internet through the router using the modem?

You need a "Proxy"
You want to leave your computers networked as-is for now. If computerA is the computer with the modem, then you want to install a "proxy program" on computerA. The proxy program accepts internet requests from your other computer(s), computerB, and asks for them across the internet using computerA's internet connection. When computerA's proxy program gets back the request, (ie: a webpage), it returns it to computerB.
You will need to leave the computer with the modem, computerA, on if you want to use the internet on computerB.

Thanks for all the input, actually it was Sygate personal firewall blocking the connection between the computers for some reason... I had it when i had DSL and forgot about it. It finally worked after i turned it off :( Sorry to bother you.
