would the stock cooling on a P4 2.53 GHz be enough to over clock it to 2.6? and maybe if i get off my lazy ass and install that Volcano 7+, how high should be the limit?

YES. as long as you have proper air circulation in your case, you can take the 2.5 up to 2.6. my dad has his 2.5 @ 2.8 with stock hsf and some low speed 120mm intake and outtake fans

think it would be possible to bring mine to 3.06 with the volcano 7+ i have? maybe higher? i have four case fans, 80x80x25 mm, 2 intake front fans, 1 in back exhaust, 1 on top exhaust. it's a Cooler Master ATC-201-SX. and also, it's got a 431 W PSU in it.
