As I have heard it, there is no difference between the two colors. they are simply made at different manufactoring plants.

AMD cut their prices in anticipation of Intel cutting their prices at the beginning on Sept. I also hear that Intel is dropping their top of the range for the newer models.
As mentioned above, newegg.com has a price drop for the XP 1600 for $59.99!!!! I too, could not resist the temptation and I'm glad.... I recieved it today!!! yay! and what? AGOIA week 13 :)

Im thinking about doing that also, but it would be pointless becuase the point was to get past 2 ghz, now that they will have 2+ghz out of the box, it just seems pointless. Im saving up to buy the new chip and go for 2.5 ghz.:D
